• The Partnership for Scientific Inquiry course at OHSU is a free course that offers high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors an opportunity to learn about the scientific process and work with a mentor (usually a medical doctor or Ph.D. researcher). • Oregon AeA scholarships.  Apply by earlyish March.  "The AeA Oregon Technology Scholarship can be the deciding factor in your acquiring a degree in engineering, computer science, or applied science.  Scholarship Components:
          * Up to $10,000 over four years 
          * Personal mentoring by an industry professional 
          * Internship opportunity at an Oregon high tech company
  The AeA Technology Scholarship program strives to encourage more women, students of color, and those requiring financial assistance to attend secondary education in engineering and applied science."
