We predict that the ion's migration path will be slightly disturbed under high gravity. It would be unwise to assume that the plating will be completely localized on the cathode, because the effects of diffusion will spread the migrating ions out somewhat; but we hope that this effect will be small. What we can expect, then, is a statistical result demonstrating that the ions plate to the cathode at a slightly lower location along the cathode under high gravity as compared to normal gravity.
